Watch me do it is a podcast talking about the journey of Emily and Sage, two women in their early 40’s. This project was a two parter, we wanted to first nail down a logo word-mark, and then create a full illustration to be used as episode cover art. Emily and Sage also liked the idea of using a vintage comic book style for the overall look of the podcast's brand.
We started off with some sketches of the full illustration, moved on to finalizing the word-mark, and finally brought the logo back into the full illustration to make sure it all worked together as a whole. The use of bold colors, expressive illustration and unapologetically empowered women makes sure that all potential listeners know that they're about to go on a wild, and wonderful journey listening to this podcast.
